Our Story

We started out as a small, family-run tech shop in Westfield Fountain Gate, Narre Warren, right in the middle of the usual mix of phone repair kiosks, telco stores, and accessory stands. Back then, it was all about locals walking past, grabbing a case, or getting a quick fix done while doing their shopping.

When COVID hit, the centre went quiet almost overnight. Foot traffic dropped, nearby kiosks started turning over, and it became clear that relying on in-store sales just wasn’t going to cut it anymore.

With zero experience, we decided to give online a go. We started on Catch, just trying to move some stock and stay afloat. Somehow, it worked. Orders started coming in consistently, and before long we were packing late into the night and learning everything on the fly: from shipping to customer service.

Eventually, we shut the physical shop and went all-in on eCommerce.

When Catch closed in mid-2025, we had to scramble. We moved onto platforms like eBay, but it wasn’t the same. Between high fees and lack of control, it became harder to offer real value. On eBay especially, the commissions were so high that keeping prices fair for customers while maintaining quality just didn’t add up.

By 2026, we decided enough was enough. We built our own Shopify store so we could deal directly with customers again, no middlemen, no inflated fees, and no compromises on quality.

We might not be in Fountain Gate anymore, but we’re still the same family business, focused on good gear, fair pricing, and looking after our customers properly.
